My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

A PERSON’S VALUE



My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways,
Proverbs 23:26
A person’s value is determined by their thoughts. Each person is worth what they think. Remember that your head and your heart are connected. Your thoughts and emotions work in tandem. For example, the Lord created us to be happy, but if we distance ourselves from this divine purpose then our thoughts and emotions take a downturn. Think about it; think about what you think. If your thoughts are of defeat, you will live in defeat. This is not something that God wants for your life. Therefore let us turn our thoughts to the divine so that we will be able to think on everything that is good, holy, and pure. This creates peace and joy in our daily lives.
What can we compare God’s love too? To think of answer to this question on Earth is difficult, we will only know it once we reach Heaven. Father God, we want to bring all our thoughts before you so that our thoughts may have a holy sheen and pure color. I want to invite you to think about something. Let us express all our thoughts to God, and in this manner, every night we will feel better. But I still ask more Father God, I want others, people from every nation to your presence. I understand that I am but a small speck of dust, but give me your blessing so that I might achieve grace though Christ Jesus. Amen.

AN ANALYSIS OF 2015



Hello beloved family and friends of the Blog, we all know that our grandparents always said, “let us analyze this past year.” We should follow their example. Remember that the family Agudelo-Castano has two family ministries that are very important. The first began in February 25, 2011 called Reach out to Heaven. In this blog, Jose Joaquin Agudelo began to publish his writings to the web. It was of great joy to him to know that his messages would reach people across the world thanks to the technology of the Internet even though he did not fully understand the fact that this could happen due to his advanced age. The second ministry is the Group Prayer that happens through Skype every night that broadcasts from our grandparent’s house. This ministry is very important because we both praise God and study Scripture, we make prayers of intercession and give thanks to the Lord for everything. Through this, we keep the family united, regardless of distance. This ministry used to take place privately in our homes, but the Skype ministry began on March 25, 2013. We give God thanks for the ability to have this ministry that can reach so many people for His kingdom. I also want to give thanks to God because of all you and the legacy that your father and grandfather Jose Joaquin Agudelo has left us and who today finds himself in Heaven with the Lord.
I want to give thanks to God for all the wonderful things he has given us:
Lord Jesus, not only do we want to thank you for goodness, we pray that our names are in the Book of Life. Submerge us in the river of Spirit, so that our sins may be washed away, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Remember that JESUS calls us to build the ark of LOVE, the church, admits the downpour of evil. So who will we invite to join us on the ark? All who want to come, because that the Lord is a God of opportunity. My advice is that we make the correct decision and become a part of the God’s family, despite any adversity, much like Noah. This is a good resolution for 2016. Cherished readers, I invite you to make the greatest decision of your life.

THE VALUE OF THOUGHT



...brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
Father God,
I am your creation and you are my God.
May your divine plans be completed in me, and I will delight in doing your will.
Don’t abandon me Father, not for one moment.
I express myself like this Father because you made me sensitive towards you.
My joy is not dependent on anyone but you because you are the joy of my life.
The beauty of your majesty is glory that does not end. Its duration is for all eternity. And your sweet company is incomparable to anything.
We are leaving with the Father and there is nothing more I desire.
Throughout the world we see the lost pass us by, let us feel compassion for them and let us run to give them the message of truth. Let us tell them that they can receive salvation, and that all they need to do is to open their hearts to Christ.
Children, let us go Heaven, to that mansion of love, but this small choice is your own. Heaven is for all, all who follow Christ.
Let us surrender before the presence of Christ because there is no other way; do this if you really want to receive salvation.
Lord, give me the grace to be able to tell others about you, O God. Give me the grace to go to your presence with many more souls; that is the desire you have placed in my heart. And thank you Father because you have given me these thoughts of love.
How short life is, and yet how long eternity lasts!
We’re going to that beautiful and glorious place that Christ has for us, if we do his will.
But how horrible for those who think otherwise, the contrary would never cross my mind and I hope it would not cross anyone else’s.
There remains much to talk about, but let’s end it now.

CHRISTMAS 2015

Hello family and friends,
This Christmas I would like to tell you about something very beautiful that was written by Carlos Roman. In this article, Mr. Roman writes about the characteristics of love and is something that touched by heart.
As we all know, God Himself became a man so that he could show us His love. With the joy and characteristics that come with the Christmas holiday season, the atmosphere is filled with carols, lights, and Christmas food, family get-togethers, vacations, and all the things we were waiting for and dreaming about throughout the year comes to fruition in the month of December, especially on Christmas day. The Christmas sensation and spirit is spread throughout peoples of all different nationalities and cultures on this day in which everybody gets together to celebrate. Many people, however, are not aware of the true reason of their celebration; more than the parties and presents, the reason of Christmas is something very small yet of great significant to all of us: A child whose birth divided history in two, before Christ and after Christ. That is the reason why it is worth saying “Merry Christmas!” now that we celebrate our Saviors birth. It’s worrisome to know that these days Christ has been rejected seeing as this is a Christian nation, with a Christian majority, that was formed by Christians seeking to maintain their faith. They try to change the meaning of Christmas into simply another secular holiday.
What is love useful for? Love is useful just for that, to love. A teacher once told his pupil as they walked in the garden and could hear the sound of the waterfall in the distance, “love is like where this river springs forth, if you treat it well, don’t contaminate it and understand that it is a gift of life given by God and don’t try to change its course, then the river will always inspire love. The river will always be delicate and just, it will always be refreshing and delicate, and will cool everything it touches.” So if you keep the spring of the river, it will always be a fount of life. Love is like this; it will always endure if you take care of it. “But what is useful for?” the pupil asked again. Love is the ultimate connection with our Heavenly Father. In that relationship is the most pure love. Generosity, gratitude, and the language of love are found in our relationship with Christ. True love is when we’re glad at someone else’s successes; we learn to see the heart instead of physical appearances. In love, wrinkles are the sum of the experiences we’ve lived with our loves one. Walking slowly is the patience of living with your loved one. Love is patience and being given towards another. With these things we realize that love doesn’t have an end.
So you ask, “what is love useful for?” Love is useful for connecting us with Christ. So let us remember that in Christmas we should not feel pain, loneliness, worries, now that Christ lives in us and He gives us victory.
Christmas is love unconditional love, Christmas is give without remembering, Christmas is receiving without forgetting, Christmas is spending less and loving more.
Please take this CHRISTMAS season to pray this prayer of faith:
Heavenly Father, I believe in the perfect sacrifice that you did on the cross for humanity. I know that I am a sinner; please forgive me all my sins, clean me with your precious blood. Make me a new creature. 
I accept You into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior because I know that you died on the cross for me to get me away from the slavery of sin. And I also know that You rose from the dead, and You are in Heaven now. Please write my name in the Book of Life so that I can be in Heaven with You forever. And I ask all this in your holy name, O Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."

THE LAST END OF MAN



 Man's end is either death, judgment, and hell, or glory, and happiness in heaven. Death is death, and no one can escape it, neither can anyone escape judgment which can either be to be justified or condemned; but between hell and Heaven we can choose the one we want. And it is obvious that we all choose the GLORY, but it must be in this life time. When life ends there is no solution:  we will go where we decided to go during our life time, and we will be there forever. What do you choose friend?
I  don’t think there’s anyone that doesn’t want to go to Heaven, but it is good to understand that our salvation is called JESUS CHRIST; because there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Dear friends of the world who are enjoying life today, you cannot remain silent, answer the call. We are going to Heaven if we just follow the Lord because we have it at our fingertips. In the arms of JESUS we are safe; we cannot doubt the infinite opportunity that Father God gives us.
Friends and brothers follow the beautiful examples of the saints, but in all follow the person of JESUS. This writing is for all my friends, known and unknown, but it is also for my brothers, i.e. all the redeemed by Christ who believe in the Lord to be always motivated to share the love of God.

A FATHER'S ADVICES



Beloved family and dear friends of the Blog, when I find in my e-mail or in my file something that will build us up, immediately I think of you because I love sharing beautiful things with you for to the glory of God. So, today I would like to offer you these rich father’s tips to his son when he went to the university. Jackson Brown wrote to his son while his son was far from his home in the university. His son decided to photocopy his letter and distribute it among his peers. The message was so successful that a publisher requested Brown’s authorization to edit it into a book: Life's little Instructions Book. This publication quickly became a bestseller translated into several languages. 
Brown wrote to his son like this:

Marry the right woman; ninety percent of your happiness or misery will depend on this decision.


Always do what’s right no matter what others think. Put your claims in the framework of your possibilities. Choose a business partner in the same way you would choose a tennis partner; look for someone that he is strong where you are weak and vice versa. Avoid negative people because they always have a problem for every solution. Mistrust braggarts because nobody brags of his abundance. Go to your commitments on time; punctuality is the respect for the time of others. Trust people, but please close your car with a key. Don't forget that there is nothing more difficult to answer than the questions of fools. Learn to look at people from their shoes and not from yours. Show respect for the people who do the heavier work. Don't forget that silence is sometimes the best answer. Don’t despise a good idea just because you don't like the person who comes up with it. Don't lose your sense of humor and learn to laugh at your own mistakes.
Don't expect another person know what you feel or want if you don’t tell it. Don't make comments about the any person’s weight, nor tell him that he is losing hair because he already knows it. Always remember the birthdays of the ones you love. Don’t drive cars that are very expensive, but take the pleasure of having a good home. Shake hands with firmness and look people in the eye. Give a hand to your children every time you have the opportunity because the time will come when they will not let you do so. Never threaten your children if you are not willing to comply. Even if you have a lot of money, make your children pay part of their studies. Treat your employees with the same respect you treat your customers. Make two copies of the photos you take and send one to each person who appears in them. Never buy a cheap bed because we are on it for a third of our life. Don't confuse comfort with happiness. Don't buy anything electrical in a crafts fair. Listen twice as much as you talk; that's why we have two ears and one mouth. When you need
professional advice, ask it to professionals not to your friend. Learn how to distinguish who are your friends and who are your enemies. Don't forget, jealousy is the tribute that the mediocrity pays talent. If you don't want to feel frustrated, don't make unattainable goals. Don’t confuse wealth with success. Remember that great love and great challenge also include great risk. The people that are happy not necessarily have everything. Don't forget that happiness is not a goal but a long way to go; enjoy it while going through life. Don't forget that there is no second chance to make a good impression. People get more things done by means of incentives than by reproach. Tell the weak that he is strong and you'll see him try hard.
Finally, learn to spend time with others and discover the joy of being useful to your neighbor because he who doesn’t live to serve knows not how to live.

I would like to add one more advice: The best part of your life is when you PRAY because you talk with the one who loves you ever so much, JESUS CHRISTTake this time to pray this prayer of faith:

I believe that Mr. Brown, although he did not mention his Creator in any of his advices, surely knows God because it is impossible for a person who does not believe in Jesus Christ neither reads The Bible to give such wise tips. By their fruits you will know them. God help us to practice these important guidelines for life!
