My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

UNDERSTAND JUST HOW MUCH EACH ONE OF US IS WORTH TO GOD

!Oh Lord helps us to understand just how much each one of us is worth to you, Oh God!
We understand that we were created to live the life that we now live. This is the first stage of the existence, the second is the eternal; and that’s it. But the important thing to remember is that in our present life we can beautify life eternal as much as we want. An infinite amount of love in a heaven of splendor in the arms of our God; and with the angels and saints we will give glory to the LORD.
I am writing this message in this day that the LORD has made - May 7 of 2010, and I am turning 93 years old and my great desire with these years is to form a bouquet of love for the glory of God. Thank You Father God for this physical health that You give me, but I hope that my spiritual health is better. I have no more option but to thank our Father for his many gifts of love.
To my brothers around the world I want to advice:  Let us not let go of the Lord Jesus Christ for He is our true God.
Sincerely,
                             José Joaquín Agudelo G.

ACTION IS WORTH MORE THAN A MILLION GOOD INTENTIONS

Dear friends of the blog, in past messages I have recommended a very good book by John Mason; today, I want to share one of the chapters thereof.
Dreams don’t just become a reality on their own; the hard part is actually carrying them out. When you only listen and don’t take action, you let deception enter into your life; you also allow things that are wrong to get the better of you. When God teaches you something, He gives you the opportunity to carry it out. God doesn’t want you to just hear His word; He wants you to obey it and take ACTION. If you don’t take action, you’re not really a believer since in order to have faith you must take action. Words without action are the very assassins of dreams. The smallest action is better than the greatest intention. History is made when you make decisions and ACT; when you take the step with surety and hope for the best.
The fruit of knowledge is action. Proverbs 6:6-8 says: “Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.” No one preaches better than the ants – and without even saying anything. Don’t forget that action is the only thing that will help you gain respect. Every time a person expresses an idea, they find that ten other people had already thought about it – but only thought.
The point of this message is not so that the reader will say “I have a lot of good ideas,” but rather that you’ll actually do something, take action. Many people don’t discover the secret of how to live a victorious life because deep down inside they suspect that maybe this will be too hard – they’re cowards. As I always say, “decision without action is an illusion”. Therefore, I’ve decided to follow Jesus and I’m not turning back; will you take the same decision? I encourage you to pray this prayer with me:
“Heavenly Father, I believe in the perfect sacrifice that you made on the cross for me. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. Cleanse me with your precious blood. Make me a new creature. I accept you into my heart as my personal Lord and savior. I believe that you died on the cross to free me from the slavery of my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead and are now in heaven. Please write my name in the book of life so that I can be in heaven with you forever. I ask this all in your name, Jesus Christ, Amen.”
Happy Easter!
With love,

Maria Fanny Agudelo
