THIS WORLD WILL PASS AWAY

This world ends and it is only the length of time required to prepare us for the eternity. If we permit fooled by Satan, the eternity would be a hell that burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death (see Revelation 21:8). But no, I, you, he/she, we, you, they, don’t do that. We go with the Sun of eternity, with God in human likeness in the adored person of Jesus Christ, who by his death and resurrection opened the doors of Heaven for all who want to follow him. But the Lord makes us understand that following Him is the best deal ever. We will not take a step back; we’ll run towards Your divine hand filled with blessings, to follow You, Abba Father.

The thoughts that You Lord give me are very beautiful, Oh, how I thank you for them! I am very happy thinking of the beautiful purposes that God has for his creatures. I thank You; O I thank You, Heavenly Father. 

I do not know express myself, but if I did, I wouldn’t lose an opportunity to do so, I would go through the whole world in prayer and praise to our beautiful God.

Love doesn’t ridicule, love always protects. With a lot of love we become like an innocent child in the arms of mom or dad. And if with the love of our parents we become like an innocent child in the arms of our parents, how much more when the love of God surrounds us and fills us. We love You Heavenly Father for such a tremendous joy that you give us. These are the impulses of my heart and with these impulses I motive you to pray with me this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I believe in the perfect sacrifice that you did on the cross for humanity. I know that I am a sinner; please forgive me for all of my sins, cleanse me with your precious blood. Make me a new creature. 

I accept You into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior because I know that you died on the cross for me to get me away from the slavery of sin. And I also know that You rose from the dead, and You are in Heaven now. Please write my name in the Book of Life so that I can be in Heaven with You forever. And I ask all this in your holy name, O Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."

Someone might think that these 93 years have me crazy, but it doesn’t matter because I am always falling in love with my Lord. Everything I do is for the glory of God!

TELEVISION

Hello family and dear friends of the Blog, today I want to share a very true analysis made by Daniel Scarone, in his book "Assault on the Minds", about the famous television company in the world. 

Please note: this message is mostly for people who have T.V. as a habit, i.e. that spend long hours in the day and/or in the night in front of the T.V.; it’s also for those who are parents or guardians and need to protect their loved ones.

The analysis begins like this:

The mass media distorts our perception of the world, providing an illusory effect which distracts us from reality and diverts attention from the real problems that we must address. The writer Sumner Redstone said: Without content, television with all its channels, cables, and chains of videos, wouldn’t make any sense because it works with images; and the worst thing of all is that it delivers them elaborated. By not letting reason come into play, T.V. exerts a tremendous control over the spirit of the viewer; this happens every time that you absorb messages of any nature by passive means and without any involvement. But with reading, we think, imagine, and dialogue. So, before the T.V. we sit helpless because we only absorb messages; for this reason it’s not an exaggeration to say that the more T.V. we watch, the stupider we become.

The T.V. only proposes a homogenous culture that does not respect any age, since in the majority of programs there is a kind of hatred for serious and rigorous understanding and knowledge; rather they are dedicated to extol vulgar language and ridiculous behavior. On the T.V., it’s difficult to see an educational and moral model that we can admire and imitate. Many thoughts and acts that we consider to be of our personality and spontaneous  are only answers to the programmed training in this mass media, which came to our subconscious and we did not realize. This mental manipulation contributes to a serious threat to our security, our family, our faith, our spiritual and moral values. Therefore, we must not enter the game of this institution because the only thing they do is sell lies. God created the people and placed them in a real world, gave them the power of imagination to think of a better world. In the mind you find all our cultural heritage and will; in the mind are the thoughts that determine our conduct. Someone said, it is an act of the human spirit, that the human spirit resembles which envisaged; so allow the Holy Spirit enlightens and guideless our thoughts. It is important to sow today since the children of today will be the citizens of tomorrow.

They will be responsible for providing good dose of criterion and wisdom in solving the problems that threat our society. Do not forget that the God, who created us, is pleased to see us choose well. Paradoxically this cultural universe that surrounds us, has paralyzed in us initiatives ordered by God, since has made us viewers inside a world created by God to cultivate. So, it is the world which should receive our influence and we do not receive it from world; that is the reason for the cultural impoverishment that surrounds us. All Christians should understand that subdue the earth and rule over it implies the care for the environment and not the destruction. Furthermore we must cultivate the gifts that God gave us because we are the salt of the earth. We also have a responsibility to re-cultivate a culture that has lost the nutrients and the sap of life. What is genuine of the believers is manifested through the commitment because their ideals are not of the world, but that they transmit to the world new ideas based on the Word of God. This responsibility makes their purity and the genuine of their acts are manifested in the way as they transmit their convictions. The believer is aware of the freewill; this determines the behavior of every human being. Believers must never be manipulative nor should be manipulated, rather they should be the liberators of every person who suffers slavery; thus they will be the salt of the earth and light to shine on the world. Do not forget that the truth is to know Christ and to remain in Christ. To know Christ is to maintain a relationship permanently with him.

I would also like to apply this message to all types of screens: computers, cell phones, tablets, IPod, I Pad, androids, play stations, etc. Regardless of the display, if this captivates you long hours, you are falling into the trap of their traders and your life is being chained slowly without noticing it. Please use either the technology of the 21st century for our benefit and not for our destruction. Use it for the glory of God!
