My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

BLESSED FREEDOM TO GO THE WAY YOU CHOOSE

We go the way of the Lord; what a horror to go down wrong ways that lead straight into perdition!
We’re going with Father God; there’s no refuge but Him. Papa-God gave us the freedom to go wither we choose; that’s why our desires in the Lord are fulfilled.
If we choose an evil way,… well…. Hell is painful…. But God respects our painful decision. And if we choose Heaven, our Father will be overjoyed and He won’t stop at anything to get us there. In fact, He’s already done everything that needs to be done to get us there: He gave His Son to die the death penalty for our sins, our failures, our mess-ups.
He wants none to perish; He wants all to be saved so that He can rejoice with us in His Heavenly Mansion. All that I am wants to save and go with as many people as I can to God’s loving arms.
Let’s not waste time; it’s priceless. Let’s live prayerful lives because time is priceless, and if we waste it, we’re going to regret doing so. I can’t stay quiet! I’m being wrapped up in God’s grace and love! If we stay quiet about so great a love (God’s love), then the rocks will cry out about it! How wonderful it is – if we give you our hearts, we be with You, Daddy, forever!
With one phrase of care and love, the thief won a haven of joy and splendor, when the Lord said, “Today you shall be with me in paradise!” Let’s do the same, for the Lord doesn’t change. This bargain of life, Oh Father, makes me overjoyed: I can go wherever I want and nobody, no one can stop me. Children, let’s go to Heaven, which is much better; if you make up your mind, nobody can stop you. Isn’t it amazing that nobody can deny your choice? Friend, don’t be an idiot: choose Christ, choose Heaven, which is way better! This is the great desire which the Lord has given me: that we all go to Heaven.
I could go on and on if I choose to, but that’s enough for now. This is my farewell: Go with God.
Sincerely,
Jose Joaquin Agudelo

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017

Hello family and friends of the blog, in this New Year, I wanna start this message with a prayer to the God of Heaven:
Yahweh, we pray for wondrous opportunities and miracle blessings in this New Year for all. Give our minds clarity, so that in this New Year we may understand, grow in, and experience Your great love, Jesus. Amen.
When we celebrate a New Year we realize how quickly the last one passed, and we exclaim: “Time flies!” We might feel bad about negative attitudes that we’ve had out of lack of love for others, for we know very well that it’s a very serious command from our Creator that we love one another. Sometimes we forget that that time which passed, left to never return. Milton, writer of the book, The Lost Paradise, stated in his book: “The hours fly towards the Author of time, bringing Him news of how we used them.” I believe that if we considered the truth for a moment, we would not waste our time on the stupid things we waste it on. What a paradox! We waste our time on nonsense and then we whine because we don’t have time.
Our Creator gives us all the time we need to accomplish our purpose, but it’s very important to keep in mind what we do with it. Moses reminds us of the briefness of life and compares it to grass that grows in the morning, but by night is gone, gone with the wind. He prayed like so: “Teach us, Oh God, to number our days, so that our hearts may find wisdom.” –Psalm 90:12. Don’t forget that every day represents an opportunity. Today’s routine might be similar to yesterday’s, but nevertheless, there’s always something different. A phone call might have us on our toes (alert), and an emergency might help us to experience the greatness of God. Remember that the valley is good rest after ascension and dissension. Don’t forget that the reason for every spiritual season is to bring us closer to God. Only He knows what will happen this year; we don’t. Therefore, we should pray like David: “I trust in You, Oh Yahweh; You are my God, and my times are in Your hands.” –Psalm 31:14-15. A Native American prayed it like this: “Every ‘why’, ‘when’, and ‘where’ of my life is in Your hands, Oh Lord.” It’s such a simple prayer, but at the same time, it’s so profound.
Remember, our lifetime is short, but we have another life that never ends; we will be eternally with God in Heaven, if we so desire it. Friend, if you want to be sure that you’ll be eternally with God in Heaven, then pray this prayer with me: “Lord Jesus, I know You love me; I know You gave Your life to free me from my sins. I renounce my sins; I want to do things Your way now, Oh God. You are my Savior. You are my Master. I love You, Daddy. Amen.”
If you feel like you never have time to do anything, then make a schedule. Put Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last; that’s how you’ll have real JOY. Don’t worry about tomorrow, and date important things. We don’t know what this New Year brings, but let’s remember that the Lord asks us to live the present and use it for His glory.  Therefore, let us welcome the year of our Lord, 2017, with great joy and confidence in Him. Happy New Year y’all!
With love,
Maria Fanny Agudelo
