My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

A GOOD LIFESTYLE

Many of us think that health is all about diet, but this is not the case. If we stop to think better, it is really not a diet but a good lifestyle that gives us comprehensive health. It is a good lifestyle because any rule alone does not give satisfactory results. This means that we must involve God in our decisions because without Him we are nothing, we can do nothing, and we can achieve nothing. The rules for a good lifestyle are many, but let's summarize them as follows:

- May the first time in the morning when we wake up be for

God and may the first reading be the Bible searching for God.

- Eat well, healthy, and varied. Avoid excess fats and sweets. Don't skip meals unless you are doing an intentional and temporary fast.

-       Sleep well. No less than 8 hours unless you are temporarily doing extra work.

- Exercise well. Exercise daily unless you have a temporary weakness. Nothing is as harmful to health as a sedentary lifestyle.

- Fight stress. This is the cause of many diseases. In case of uncontrollable stress, do not lock yourself away. Seek help in time. Just by sharing your difficult situation with people you trust, this is already the beginning of your liberation.

- Live a simple and light life. Get rid of too many objects, clothes, furniture, and other possessions.

- Give more and expect less from others.

- Always forgive and keep your heart free of resentment.

These are tips given with love for everyone. Practice them!

With love,

Maria Fanny Agudelo
