My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

I MOST ARDENTLY DESIRE TO PRAISE MY JESUS



I have a desire to praise God, with craving I long for it; I do not want to rest for a moment while you have me on this earth.
The 92 years of life seem little to me. This birthday must be received as a beautiful gift from our beloved God. Emotion makes my heart pound as I enjoy the beautiful gifts of the Lord.
May 7, 1917 was the day my eyes first saw the world. I am very happy for the years of life that you have granted me, Father God. I feel with great joy that I would like to share this writing with all the people who take care of me and with all those who are in the distance. It is admirable that a heart lasts for so many years beating diastole-systole without rest and without stopping. I am grateful, God, and I want to give you glory until I cannot. So far I have done very little, but I would like in the time to come, to do more.
I still have a desire to praise God!
