My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

MY 84th BIRTHDAY

Hello family, did you know that the apostle Paul began the passage from Romans 8:38 with this sentence: I am sure ...? We too can say: We are sure that death could not separate my husband José Joaquin from the love of Christ and his longing for his whole family to experience the love of the Lord in fullness. Today I want to emphasize to all that death will not be able to separate us from the love of God if we really give ourselves to Jesus Christ, but we have to dare to do it because this is the only way to have a great family reunion in Heaven. Do not think that after the departure of your father Jose Joaquin, my husband, to Heaven; it is not easy to be content with my birthday despite having a large and wonderful family.
So I hope you understand and understand that only the Lord can fill us this emptiness that your earthly father left us. Everyone is aware that we are celebrating my 84th birthday, but also that this is the 5th anniversary of his departure for Heaven. So, even if it hurts our soul, I want to remind you of his last writing for the Blog, also his farewell, 45 days before his death. I think that God has loved him a lot by giving him so much courage and lucidity in those moments so painful to be able to give his last advice, and even write his farewell.

                 With love,
