My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

LET US TALK ABOUT THE AFTERLIFE

The previous message about TIME has already flown by, so let's continue with this one because it is a tremendous reality. The central theme of the previous message was MAKING WELL OF TIME, and in this one, I will tell you about the joys of Heaven for all eternity. Streets of gold and a sea of crystal and best expressed by the Apostle Saint Paul when he tells us: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him." (1 Corinthians 2:9; 2 Corinthians 12:1-4).

I want to write in this blog everything that You, Lord, give me; the joys of Heaven in eternity. Beloved Lord, You are my beloved forever and ever. I give you my heart; I have no more. What joy to go with my beloved to the afterlife!

Holy Spirit of God, cover me with Your splendor, for the souls who go there belong to the Lord. This is a great procession that we form from the earth to march toward the afterlife, where we will all be together in the arms of God for eternity.

Daddy God, let yourself come with all the desires of my heart because we want to follow you to the afterlife. Thank you for today, which we enjoy in your holy presence; we want to enjoy it completely without rest. We surrender everything to you, blessed Father, without fainting until we reach your heavenly bosom.

If we knew what awaits us at the end of life, a thousand years of prayer would be too little to give our lives to the Lord. Let us thank the beloved person of Jesus Christ, who with his death and resurrection purified our lives to give them to God. Thank you, Daddy God, for having created us, and even more so for the place in the afterlife you have prepared for us to spend eternity. We thank you, beloved Lord, for having redeemed us, because if it weren't for your redemption, we would be lost.

I want to conclude by inviting you not to stop following the ways of the Lord. In Heaven, we will see each other face to face if we walk with the Lord. And we cannot doubt this; if we go with the Beloved, we have complete security. Please choose the Lord Jesus Christ!

Sincerely,

José Joaquín Agudelo G.

GOOD ADVICE

Hello family and friends, remember I've told you before that I like wise sayings and good advice. Here are some words written by Abraham Lincoln:

1) You cannot create prosperity by discouraging self-initiative.

2) You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

3) You cannot help the small by crushing the large.

4) You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

5) You cannot raise wages by attacking those who pay the wages.

6) You cannot solve your economic problems by spending more than you earn.

7) You cannot promote brotherhood among humanity by inciting class and racial hatred.

8) You cannot guarantee security with borrowed money.

9) You cannot form a person's character and courage by taking away their independence, freedom, and initiative.

10) You cannot help people by constantly doing for them what they can and should do for themselves.

To this list of good advice, I want to add two more:

11) You cannot force others to seek God's ways; only pray for them.

12) You cannot save anyone; only Jesus Christ can do that.

Remember that salvation is infinitely costly, but absolutely free; let us work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). If you want to receive salvation, you must accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life. Come on, decide for Him!

Fools despise wisdom and good advice, but you shouldn't be one of them.

With love,

María Fanny Agudelo
