My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

HEALTHY ADVICE

Throughout my life, I've learned that mistakes are not our enemies. They teach us, shape us, and force us to look within ourselves, asking ourselves who we really are, where we come from, and where we're going. Sometimes we make mistakes along the way, making decisions that lead us to dark places, but even in those moments, there's something valuable: FAITH is activated, and it's an opportunity to learn, grow, and change.

We didn't come into this life already perfect, but rather learning from the PERFECT ONE, JESUS, and walking with Him. Along the way, it's normal to fall several times, but also, and more importantly, to always get up with the help of JESUS and move forward with greater strength. Every mistake is a lesson in better understanding human beings and ourselves. The important thing isn't how many times we fail, but what we do with our failures: Do we let them defeat us or use them as stepping stones to move forward?

I've made mistakes in my life; some have cost me dearly, and others have taught me lessons I'll never forget. But there's one thing I know for sure: each mistake has made me stronger, more aware, and more human. Life isn't about avoiding pain or failure, but rather learning to face them with dignity, courage, and the certainty that, in the end, what really matters is deciding to move forward; of course, putting God first in everything.

Don't forget that if JESUS CHRIST doesn't move forward, I'm not going anywhere. Without Him, I am nothing, I want nothing, and I can do nothing. I only want to walk in this world under the shadow of the Almighty. And you?

With love,

María Fanny Agudelo
