My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

IN THE HAND OF GOD

Hello family and friends, today I want to talk to you about some, among many beautiful promises of God, that teach us to walk hand in hand with the Lord because they fill our hearts with confidence. Let's start by keeping in mind what JESUS says: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls; for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). There are many fears such as failure, illness, loss of a loved one, poverty, afflictions, etc. Where will we get to?  Remember that the Holy Spirit is the enemy of fear, so let us move forward to overcome all fear and live confident in the powerful presence of the Lord always, always.

In Psalm 16:11 it says: “You will show me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; “Delights at your right hand forever.”  I pray like this because I know that you answer me oh God!  I know that you incline your ear to me and hear my prayer!   Because God is faithful, let us trust in Him. There is no heart that He does not heal.  There is no prayer that He does not hear. The secret of our victory is found in loving God deeply, putting deep roots in his Word and his love, and this love must extend to our fellow human beings. Life is beautiful despite the bad moments, disappointments, pain and tears, God always gives us the opportunity to start again.

Therefore, do not be afraid of challenges because they make you agile.  Don't be afraid to make mistakes because your mistakes make you wiser.  Do not fear loneliness, God is with you.  Remember this: When your heart connects with the heart of God, extraordinary things will happen. Don't forget this: When our hearts and souls are sad, it is best to go to a quiet, alone place, close our eyes and talk to God.  With our eyes closed, even when we can't say anything, the Lord is the only one who can read our hearts. So in any situation we are going through, we must be calm and meditate on the promises of God, since we walk in the Hand of God. Trust in God!

With love,
