THE GOOD BOOKS

 

All Scripture is inspired by God, and useful to teach, to convict, to correct, to instruct in righteousness, so that the man of God may be perfect, fully prepared for every good work.

2 Timothy 3: 16-17

Good books are a fundamental pillar for the emotional

development of children and for a good influence on young people and adults. They not only bring delight but also cultural and scientific heritage, but should be selected in a similar way to the way friends are selected. Reading a good book on a computer screen is not the same as feeling it with our hands. Good books are so important that they provide us with imaginary journeys and take us to other places, they put us in contact with other mentalities, and they

take us by the hand through the world, history, entertainment, and fiction. They are also sources of experiences. We must convince our children that reading is the most fun and enjoyable sport, and also puts us in a better intellectual shape. Children learn to read at school, but training as a good reader is in the family through example. We cannot force them to read, but we can create a good atmosphere and motivation for them. It is necessary to

read good books to children that are very pleasant for their age. Good reading is a vitamin complex for children, as it provides them with learning, vocabulary, experiences, knowledge, prevents boredom and opens horizons. We would all like them to be great readers, to occupy much of their free time in a good book. But don't forget that the most important book to recommend to our children has always been the Bible. The Bible is the most powerful manual to be able to live this passing life well in this world. The Bible is the Book of books and the one with the most translations in many languages.

Remember that good will is necessary for everything. Albert Einstein said that the will is a more powerful force than the atomic bomb. So if we add a lot of faith to the will, not in ourselves but in God, we will move mountains. I tell you that the mind, umbrellas and good books have to be opened, otherwise they are useless. I also tell you that on October 1, 2016 an event called "Literature Vs Traffic" was held in Toronto (Canada), which was an open street full of books that had been donated so that passers-by could take the books from your like for free. This so beautiful and uplifting has not been repeated. May God once again enlighten the minds of the people who promoted this event to keep doing this even once a year, but always promoting good books to the people. Einstein also said: Good creativity is a gift from God for all people, and all you need is to free your imagination. You cannot imagine what you earn by being imaginative and creative. Creativity has never been

sanctioned. So apply your mind and ears to build good knowledge and good habits, since in youth we learn and in maturity we understand. Never forget to give your children the vitamin complex of good culture, the reading of good books and above all the BIBLE, which is the Scripture, the Word and the Voice of God.
