My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

DEEP THOUGHTS

When we have difficulties to overcome, we do give them to the Lord in complete peace and love, confidently and decisively to do his holy will.

Now that I am king of my thoughts it occurs to me to write something of great depth. While we enjoy life we have all the rights given by the Lord to express our opinion, think, appreciate, discern, and follow the path we want.

Today the following occurs to me: Ever since they banned prayer in educational establishments in the United States of America, things started to happen like students murdering their own classmates and then killing themselves. If this work is not satanic, I declare you totally blind.

And something else: This country, USA, which until now has been a world leader, lately we are seeing it face tremendous difficulties; is it not also for the same reason?  Who has ears to hear must listen and who has eyes to see must look. If you do not observe this, I declare you foolish, lacking in knowledge and understanding.

What remains for us then is to pray, pray, and pray!

Cordially,

Jose Joaquin Agudelo G

THE 2020 PANDEMIC

Hello family and friends. I tell you that this coronavirus has produced different problems, opinions and thoughts in humanity. Much has been said about this by different media, but today I want to tell you the opinion of a Colombian writer named Gonzalo Gallo. He says:

“Someone wrote to me: When will this damn virus pass and can we go back to our normal lives? I answer: Although some do not grasp it, everything comes for the good of humans beings, in order to wake up and make changes for the better. Blessed virus that awakens consciences, brings those who are far closer together, unites those who are estranged, and also do well to a sick planet. This blessed virus shakes unjust economic structures and moves us to local and global solidarity. Thank you virus because you remind us that the art of living is the art of loving and not doing to have more. Thank you Coronavirus for inviting us to quiet this malnourished human being and so be aware that we are passers-by on this planet earth. It would be foolish to go back to a life that has been abnormal, crazy in which the material overshadows the spiritual. It would be very clumsy to continue as before, in an abnormal normality. This blessed virus camouflaged as an evil, arrived precisely for a renewal. So if we're going to get infected, let it be from the love of God.”

Did you know that panic is more contagious than any virus?

Keep calm. The good thing about this pandemic is that it is showing us how useless weapons are, how weak power is, and how useless wealth is. What a slap for our pride, selfishness, vanity and greed! Jesus, with this smallest virus in the universe, paralyzed the world to show us the fragility of the human being and put us on our knees before God. Although some countries continue to be blocked or their borders closed, the best of all is that Heaven remains open for everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and follows his teachings. I remind you of what God say in Isaiah 26:20: "Go to your house, my people, and bolt your doors, hide for a short time until the anger of the Lord has passed." So achieve this quarantine if you are still in it and make your house a party: Listen to music, sing and dance. Make your home a temple: Pray, meditate, ask, thank and praise God. Make your home a school: Read, write, draw, paint, study, learn and teach. Make your house a store: Clean, fix, organize, decorate, and change things around. Make your home a restaurant: Cook, eat, taste, and invent recipes. Make your house a garden: Grow, plant, water, prune. In short, make your home and your family an oasis: A place of rest with hugs and love.

I advise you that more than a washing of hands, the inhabitants of this planet earth need a washing of heart, soul, mind, conscience and spirit. The problem is not that there are wars, earthquakes, hurricanes, storms or epidemics. The problem is that God is speaking to humanity and we all ignore it. We must live as if JESUS CHRIST died yesterday, risen today and returns tomorrow. JESUS has said, live prepared because you do not know the day or the hour that I will return (Mark 13: 31-33). All of these are words from the soul and the heart. Make good use of the time that remains. The coming of the Lord is near and will come for his people. Are you one of them? Give your life to JESUS!

With love,

Maria Fanny Agudelo
