My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

THE SALVATION

"Set your sights on things above, not on things on earth." Colossians 3: 2

Hello family and friends. Did you know that the most important thing in passing through this earth is salvation? My husband used to say, "This is the biggest and best business for all human beings." Salvation is infinitely expensive, but at the same time totally free. Some people believe that the message of salvation is that sin is not so bad since God can deliver the sinner from punishment. That is not like that. On the contrary, if sin were not so bad and eternal punishment was just a minor disgrace, then God would not have bothered to provide the salvation that cost Jesus' death on the cross. That's how bad sin is to God. The great event that God has made, that salvation is available to everyone, does not mean that it is not the most important thing for you because it is free. It is not that it cost nothing, but because it cost so much that you are not in a position to pay it, so Jesus had to pay for you. Have you received HIS salvation?

We are all concerned that evil and sin are increasing on this planet earth more and more every day. We feel confused because we can no longer believe in anyone or anything. We are all in search of peace and when we do not find it outside we feel frustrated; and in response to this situation we must seek inner peace which we can only find in the source of eternal life that is God our Creator. However, the problem is not only what happens in the world, but what happens within us. That peace that we desire can only be found through Jesus Christ when we relating personally to Him. The Bible says in chapter five of the Letter to the Romans: “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord. Jesus Christ". Here is the first step, because first of all we must have peace in the soul and in the heart, that peace that Christ brings when we decide for him by receiving him as our Savior. Peace brings hope because it Himself fills the soul of the human being with hope. And that "hope is not ashamed because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Romans 5: 5

I tell you that the soul is cleansed with forgiveness, hydrated with prayer, nourished with the Word of God (The Bible), protected with faith, and toned with love. God said: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls; for my yoke it is easy, and my burden light. "(Matthew 11: 28-29). Learn from me, says Jesus, who am patient and humble; you will find rest with me because my teaching is pleasant and my burden is easy to carry.

Decide for JESUS CHRIST and receive his salvation!

With love
