My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

DO WE NEED TIME?

Hello family. I tell you that my mission in the passage through this earth has always been to fight and pray for my wonderful offspring and for the whole world giving healthy advice to all the families of the earth such as: No religion saves, we just have to believe in Jesus Christ for religion means relationship with God. We just have to believe in Him and follow in his footsteps; so let us carry Him in our hearts permanently and stop being religious.
I am Samuel's maternal grandmother and I want on behalf of the family to give a nice welcome to his girlfriend Angela, a person who is very much appreciated by him and by us, too. We hope she has had a beautiful week in these hot Florida lands, but mainly very warm due to the family love we offered to her. May the Lord always bless Angelica! And you, Samuel, my beloved grandson, do not forget that your main task is to lead this beautiful young woman through the ways of the Lord.
Achieving this opportunity I want to share something very important and real that happens in these times of so much technology. I took out some valuable contributions from journalist Carol Honoré in her article entitled “Do we need time?” Please listen to these tips.
To live in a hurry is not to live, it is to survive. In these times we suffer the disease of haste. So we should not let the agenda govern us, but try to decrease the pace in which we live so we do not degrade ourselves; let's just slow down, let's find the right time for everything and savor every moment. When you are with your spouse and children or family, turn off the computer and cell phone. Take time to eat, since eating in a hurry or with a screen in your hand generates digestive problems and you will not assimilate food as it should. Invest time alone with God and with yourself, listen to His voice, and do not be afraid. Also listening to good music will not only relax you, but it is beautiful; and I would say listening to Christian music praising God is much better.
Do not stay long in front of the TV, computer, or cell phone, which is wasting time. Please do not get entangled in social networks; learn to use them wisely.
Write a range of priorities now, and if the first thing you wrote is the work, something is wrong; rewrite it for work is important, but if you meditate a little you will notice that it is not the most important thing in your life. We do not believe that loving a day or a while is enough, it is necessary to listen to the people we love, their dreams, their fears, their joys, their failures, their fantasies and something else. We should invert quality time with them.
Do not believe that your children can keep up with you, you are who must slow down and keep up with them. Remember that the rush virus is a worldwide epidemic; if you have it try to slow down following these healthy tips by stopping along the way and not forgetting that the main thing is to follow Jesus Christ. He will not only help us in the midst of this crazy race, but will also lead us to delicate pastures and peaceful waters. It is worth following Jesus!
With love,
Maria Fanny Agudelo
