My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

FATHER GOD, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO STAY QUIET

I have to say the words that You, O God give me and they can’t be any other than praise to Your holy name from now until forever. If we stayed quiet, then the rocks would cry out because creation was made for the Glory of God. It is impossible for me to keep on living without preaching the Glory of the Lord because it is a tremendous necessity to speak of Your Glory Father God.
On this beautiful morning the Lord allowed us to contemplate a beautiful sunshine, but an ungrateful cloud covered it up, and we were able to see the sunshine no longer. We praise You Lord. It is impossible for me to stay quiet!
Life with the Lord is very sweet and full of love. My great desire is to write something for Your Glory because it is You who gives me these little words of love. I invite You friends to these heights, to that beautiful mansion that the Lord prepared for all of God’s friends.
If you follow my counsel, we shall all rejoice because we have, within our reach, great joy and gladness for our hearts. Daddy God, we ask for Your salvation because the Lord Jesus Christ, at the price of Your divine blood, bought us. You are so great God, that no matter that we do it all seems too little to reach Great Joy; we just don’t measure up. Therefore we appeal to our Divine Saviour, that with His infinite merits, will lead us to this Great Joy. We already feel such tremendous joy that we wouldn’t trade our divine Savior for the world! It is impossible for me to stay quiet concerning these things.
Cordially,
Jose Joaquin Agudelo

WRITER’S NOTE: If this message pleased you, I would love it if you would share this blog with your friends and family.

FOR ALL THE HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES

Dear friends and family of the blog, please allow me to share with you that as I was checking my archive, I’ve found a very important, as well as interesting, theme. It is about something that happens all over the world and especially with the most vulnerable people. Also with this, we prove that in our societies there is a vast lack of faith in God, and a vast lack of love toward our neighbors.
It is said that on this planet earth, there is much corporal hunger; this is true, but we observe that there is also much spiritual hunger. It has been proven that the lack of love far exceeds the lack of food, for if there was love, then there would be enough food in this world.
Now, even though the following text is anonymous, I invite y’all to analyze it, so that each of us can be a grain of salt in our societies.
“I was sick and you gave me, as my only name, bed #24. I was sick and you asked me if I came from a private or official business. I was sick and you told me: ‘you complain with no reason.
’ I was sick and you kicked me out of the hospital without caring about my case. I was sick and you told me: ‘I can’t attend to you, let someone else do it: this hospital doesn’t correspond to you.’ Therefore, I died along the way. Wouldn’t it be better: “I was sick and you called me by name. I was I was sick and you came every morning to smile and greet me with a ‘good morning’.  I was sick and I was to you a someone, and not a something. I was sick and you accepted my impatience with patience. I was sick and whenever you came to see me you wished me peace. I was sick, and I arrived in grave condition at your institute, and you allowed me to enter, and cared for me. I was sick and you turned my pillow so I would feel better. I was sick and you treated me with competence. I was sick and you gave me what I needed: care, comprehension, and love. I was sick and you gave me God.”
Don’t forget that God is not only the starting point of your life, but also the source thereof. And remember that you should go to the Word of God, not to the wisdom of the world, to discover the purpose of your life. Not only that, but that this message is not only for hospital employees; rather, it is for the whole world. We all need to practice love, regardless of the circumstance. Remember, “today it’s for you, tomorrow it’s for me.”
Please, be merciful and have a loving heart.
With love,
Maria Fanny Agudelo
