My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

I CAN BE SAVED IF I WANT TO

I can be saved if I want to. Yes, I want to, Oh Lord! If we want, we can be saved; but if we don’t want to, then we won’t be saved. Daddy God respects our free will.
We realize, Oh God that we are all sinners, but from now on, we don’t want to continue sinning. Our repentance is sincere. Help us to be able to fulfill this purpose that with humility we ask for.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21). This is a great comfort for us souls which trust in Him.
You made us free to choose and we would be stupid to choose what’s worse for us. We’re going to make Satan keep his trash, because he does not deserve any better, but we’re going to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, for he is the joy of our lives. We’re not taking one step back in God’s beautiful garden.
We, the Children of God, are going down the beautiful paths of the Lord and we don’t want to stray at all (not one inch) because they lead us to a glory without end.
You, Daddy, are the beauty of our lives and while you have us enjoying this life, we will not cease to praise your holy name, just imagining what we’re going to do in heaven. Glory to God!
Cordially,
Jose Joaquin Agudelo
