My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

HOW GREAT IT IS TO FEEL THE BREATH OF GOD!

Prayer is giving your heart to God with no strings attached, holding nothing back. He fills all of our infinite desires for love, because His beauty is limitless. I have a joy that I can’t contain, because in the blink of an eye, we’ll be in the house of our Father God. I thank you Father, for this endless joy that you give; it’s a peace that only you can give. Your divine breath comforts our love-anxious hearts. There is nothing that matches feeling the mighty power of God. Thank you so much, Daddy. How great it is to feel the breath of God!

When you have thirst for God, it is so wonderful that you can’t explain it. We want to give out purity and love to all your souls. The bargain of life places us in a powerful situation because in the name of the Lord we can do all the good works we want to, those of Heaven and those of Earth. But remember that once this life is done, there is eternity. How great it is to feel the breath of God!
Grant us, Oh God, the grace to be pure souls of God. You know, dear Daddy that we don’t want anything else because this is a desire that you placed in our hearts. We thank you for this infinite desire of love. In the name of Jesus, I get rid of any bitter, confusing thought, and I choose to have my heart filled with joy and happiness at the bliss of being in your holy Presence, God. How great it is to feel the breath of God!
The Lord takes great delight in the many, many people that choose Heaven, choose Christ. It is a wonderful task to invite people to choose Heaven, choose Christ. Let us never turn back, brethren, for this is the way. Let us grow more and more in love with the Lord each day! Yes, for it brings much glory to God.
Pray this prayer with me dear reader and you will see how great it is to feel the breath of God:
“Make me holy, Lord; make me pure, my king, for all I am is the reflection of your love. Today I turn myself over to you with great joy, for there is no better way.”
Cordially,
Jose Joaquin Agudelo

AWAKENING

Hello family and friends. In these days we will be celebrating, well actually, remembering the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our redeemer. Since this is a very important holiday for Christians, I want to tell y’all today something that I’ve had in mind for some time now; after all, ideas shouldn’t be kept hidden, they should be expressed publicly, regardless of the success that they have, and all the more, if they’re about life everlasting. The humanity that inhabits this world is so lost and absorbed by the pleasures that are wrought by modernism, that it almost seems as if we were in the times of Sodom and Gomorrah & the times of Abraham (the father of the faith). I started thinking about the urgent need for a world-wide awakening of the Holy Spirit directed by a Christian leader or intellectual, regardless of what denomination he belongs to, and only focused primarily on God and in His cause.
This awakening consists of us becoming like-minded in our prayer asking God for forgiveness, for I believe the he is more angered now than in those ancient times, for now there’s even more people offending him, and all the worse, we have more knowledge of the truth… No one should be exempt from knowing the truth because we have so much technology nowadays. We should agree on the day and the time to start the revival. For since in these times people call good “evil” and evil “good”, we need another Abraham with much courage and much faith, being a faithful ambassador, or representing us before God and negotiating with him. This Abraham, trusting by faith, will find much more that 100 innocents. If we want to have success, the only thing that we require is to bow knee before our Lord and ask Him to forgive us and help us, for we are willing, in our hearts, to change. The only prayer that doesn’t work it the one that isn’t attempted. We should have a quiet time to pray every day. Why is this? Because of the pain that it causes me to see so many people on this earth that are living without God and without law, hating and hurting each other.
We forget that this life is short and that we have yet another that is eternal and without end. God call us to forgive each other. Have you ever wondered where does all the violence come from? Why are the youth in our schools shooting each other? Have you ever heard the proverb: the most dangerous animal in the forest is the one that is hurt? Nowadays there are so many hurt people, and the worse thing is that they don’t know God; that’s why they kill and hurt each other. They don’t know that the best route is the way of God, and the forgiveness through which we decide to liberate our offenders. Did you know that we forgive, not through a feeling, but through an act of the will? This is not an option for the children of God, for he asks us that we forgive; of course, this is costly, for it requires good will in order to be able to accept the cost of the sin of the other person. Not forgiving someone blocks your heart and breaks your communion with God. This generation is full of hurt people, and those hurts turn into wrath and hatred, morphing later, into vengeance and violence. The good news is that we can forgive with the same grace that God has forgiven us with. You don’t forgive someone because they deserve it, but rather, because God has forgiven us, turning us into catalysts through which his forgiveness and grace can flow. Remember that our goal is reconciliation through building each other up in bridges of love and blessing. The Holy Spirit is the energy fountain of the Christian and Love is the magnet that unites believers.

I am overflowing with joy: the Holy Spirit told me what to write and I wrote it. To finish, I want us to sing this little chorus: “Holy Spirit, You are welcome here, come flood this place and fill the atmosphere; Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for, to be overcome by Your presence, Lord.” (Holy Spirit, Francesca Batistelli.)
Happy Easter!
With love,
Maria Fanny Agudelo
