My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

THE GREAT VALUE OF WANTING TO...

You can get saved if you WANT TO. God is Omnipotent, Creator of heaven and earth and everything that exists, including you. He is Sovereign Lord of all that our eyes can see and all that our hands can feel. This great God can save you if you just give Him your heart!

The Lord healed the sick, raised the dead, comforting the sad, calmed the storm, multiplied the loaves, filled the net with fish, taught, and preached about the God’s Kingdom, etc.

God does not force us to receive salvation if we do not want it. He does not force anybody. When the Lord was with us, in his public life, he did not heal anyone by force; all who received healing was because they humbly asked him to. Our God all powerful, does not pressure us.

Until now I have spoken in the plural, but I will continue to speak to you in singular; I want to talk to you, because you are very important to God as well as to me. Friend, you were in the mind of God from the beginning of eternity; and He loves you so much that you alone would have been reason enough for Him to come down from Heaven and die on the cross for your sins. He gave His life and shed His divine blood for you.

I’m not saying that you’re an atheist (because the demons believe and tremble before Christ’s name but they don’t obey Him), I’m saying that maybe you don’t give God very much importance. Don’t take Jesus for granted; make Him the most important thing in your life.

Thank you Lord for giving the great opportunity to live with you forever; this is achieved only if you accept Him. We can lose our lives in the blink of an eye. After that, we are either in Heaven or in hell! It is dangerous to not deeply consider these thoughts because God has no middle ground: there is only good or evil, light or dark. Life is short and eternity is forever. It’s time to take a life changing decision.

The Lord made us eternal as He is eternal; and we are unique.
Pray with me: Thank you my Lord, thank you very much for my existence, for remembering me, and inviting me into your kingdom, I accept you into my heart as my Lord and personal Savior, please write my name in the Lamb’s book of life; I believe in You, and I repent of all my sins, please forgive me. I love you because you first loved me. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Every one of us should say this. And you friend, did you do it? I hope the answer is yes because it would be of great joy, my friend, if we see each other in Heaven.

Friend, things like this everyone has surely heard, but it is good that someone like me reminds you.

With immense love and hoping to live eternity together in the presence of Jesus Christ,

SPECIAL DAY

Hello dear family and friends of the blog, today the Lord led me to thank him for blessings he gave me; I want to share them with you to motivate you to see God in the midst of everyday life.

My husband said: "Today is a beautiful day, tomorrow will be more beautiful, and every day is beautiful until the most beautiful day of all time comes, of being in God’s divine arms." Today, July 4, 2015 is a beautiful day because God has given us many blessings and therefore we must thank Him. There has occurred very nice and pleasant things to me today and I'm sure that they came from our Father above. We cannot forget that the man proposes, but God makes the decision; it’s better to obey God’s Word and remain faithful to Jesus. We should submit our feelings and emotions to God.

This day was very special because many nice things happened. Number one, we celebrated the USA Independence Day in family with the tasty barbecue that Albeiro cooked. Number two, we celebrated the success of my son in law getting a new job in LJW (which is a family business). I pray that God blesses this new challenge. Number three, the same day the family in Florida was also all together in Tallahassee to celebrate my two grand-children’s 20th birthday.
Number four, God answered our prayers for his first car for my 8th grand-son, Sam. That same day while our family devotional went on by Skype, family from many different places- Florida, Rhode Island, Colombia, and Milwaukee- beat the family record of 23 people communicated. This was of great joy for me. My great desire is that these small ministries, both the Family Prayer Group and our Blog, grow and endure so that we reach the fourth and fifth generation. In addition, I pray to my Lord that God’s vision and plan will be fulfilled in our family for generations to come. All I want to do is thank my Lord JESUS CHRIST not only for our many blessings, but also for giving me a large and wonderful family.

Friends, I hope you give your life to Jesus and see how wonderful your lives will be after you do so. The best is yet to come!

With love,
