My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

MOTHER’S PARTY

I want to mention the mother to everyone, but not as an insult but in love. Everyone has or has had a mom. I also had a mother who today rests on the beaches of the eternal, but with tenderness I want to remember her. She was the tenderly beautiful matron and she gave her life to the Lord JESUS CHRIST; very fearful of God and her gentleness and piety taught us. Thank you, oh God, for my mother because she couldn't be better.

But we really want to celebrate all the mothers who are still alive and who we have with us making an investment of love. What loved ones the Lord gave us! What if there were no mothers! This would be a tremendous orphan.

All the mothers who live today love them very much and we wish them to last longer. May the Lord pour out blessings on them to the point of overflow!

I can talk about my wife who, as the mother of eleven children, does not deny love to any of them and that is inherited because I was also very loved. My home is a beautiful nest of love. Thank my Lord.

Cordially,

LIFE MATTER

Hello family and friends, this month I want to share with you this important message that I found in my archive and it is very appropriate not only for mothers, but also for all women of all ages. Nor are men left out because they live with women and must understand our feminine nature for their convenience.

When we are reaching old age, the glasses do not matter and the gray hair does not matter, life matters and live it with desire. It doesn't matter being slow and with wrinkled skin, life matters and the fight won. The tired back does not matter, life matters and the harvested honey. No matter how much time passes and goes, life matters at any age. I do not write this message out of ego or presumption; I do it for those women who are like me. I do it for women who make mistakes, who know how to accept their mistakes, and who are not perfect, but who are faithful to God. Strong women who do not avoid tears and who fall when they feel they can't take it anymore, but always find the strength of God in their hearts to continue. Blessed women, intense, rapturous at times, other times submerged in total calm. Independent women, but at the same time they like to be protected and pampered, dreamers, believers in God and in love, although sometimes disappointment invades them. I don't write for myself, I write for all of you women like me.

So in difficult times let's look to Heaven, there is someone who never abandons us. The Lord gives us strength to move forward. Remember that hugs are given for love, friendship, joy, sadness, affection, protection, or because we simply feel like it. At this moment I feel like sending you a hug full of all these characteristics. Have a blessed Mother's Day in this month of May set aside expressly for all of us.

With love,

Mary Fanny Agudelo
