My husband and I were raised in Catholic families in Colombia, and from an early age our parents taught us the fundamental moral principles of the Catholic religion. But on April of 1989, when we were born again, we began to understand the true meaning of being a Christian and since then our relationship with God has become more personal. Since then we began to write. José Joaquin wrote reflections about the love of God and messages of hope for humanity, and I wrote wise advice for all families everywhere.

THE PRESENT MOMENT

Let me start with a series of questions: We could affirm that we have been believers all our lives, but if this were so, why are so many questions presented to us? I ask myself why I did not correct so many impudence that I was listening to. Also, when in front of our eyes they committed unworthy acts such as dishonest and obscene conversations with vulgar phrases, disrespecting children and the elderly, and hearing comments of great errors about the faith. In short, to see how the youth plagued with dishonesty and deceit got up. Youth who barely mentioned a whole God, but without even meditating for a moment what that precious name of JESUS CHRIST meant for their lives. From there our big question arises today: Why did I keep quiet? Couldn't I have done something? Couldn't I have

prayed to God for wisdom to fill these young people with loving and compassionate advice while engaging in uplifting conversations with them? Only in this way could another turn have been given to their conversations. Please don't waste time and opportunities that come and go. And we keep asking ourselves: Why did I spend most of my life without doing the good that I could do the most? But we should not be overwhelmed by this guilt complex and we cannot

wallow in the past because it takes away our true peace, the peace that the Lord has given us. What we can do is live in the present moment by correcting our past mistakes and taking advantage of the opportunities that are so many. Dear brothers, let us do all this without shyness and clothed with all the authority of Heaven, but with respect and prudence. It is the present moment; it is the moment to act.

Cordially,

CHRISTMAS 2021 AND NEW YEAR 2022

Did you know that Christmas is giving love and time? The enemies of love are pride, envy, routine, hatred, indifference, individualism, jealousy, insecurity, selfishness, and the main one of all is the lack of God. So, if you have sadness, Christmas is joy. If you have pride and arrogance, bury them; Christmas is humility. If you have enemies, reconcile because Christmas is peace. If you don't have friends, look for them because Christmas is a meeting. If you have debts, pay them off; Christmas is justice. If you have the poor by your side, Christmas is giving. If you

have evil and sin in your heart, repent and change; Christmas is conversion. If you have resentments, forget them; Christmas is forgiveness. If you feel in darkness, turn on the Christmas lighthouse because this is light. If you believe in the redeemer of the world, celebrate; Christmas is here. Remember that JESUS did not pass-through chimneys bringing gifts, but through the cross to give us salvation. FAITH is a very small word, but it produces great blessings.

The year 2021 is almost over and God has never failed us. I am sure that in the year 2022 God will not fail us either. Let us give Him His anticipated glory as He speaks of things as if they already are. Lord, I ask that the doors of Heaven be opened on all the homes of the world and that in this year 2022 you send us wonderful opportunities and miraculous blessings such as we have never seen or experienced. Remove all bad memories, all roots of bitterness

that torments our soul. Give our mind clarity so that in this
new year we can understand, believe, and experience your divine love. Lord, open our eyes so that we can know you more, understand more of your Word and put it into

action. Pour over us the wisdom that you put in Solomon, the courage of King David, the eloquence of the Apostle Paul, but above all fill us with your peace and serenity because we have been tired and burdened this year that is ending because of the pandemic. So today we come for you to make us rest.

Let's not forget that we only enjoy an abundant and blessed life having CHRIST in our hearts.

!! MERRY CHRISTMAS and BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!

With love, María Fanny Agudelo
